Jordanian artist Ibrahim Abu Al -Khair died at the age of 75, at dawn today, Wednesday, March 5, after a long suffering with the disease, as he was suffering from kidney failure and was treated periodically by washing the kidneys, which affected his health in recent days and led to the deterioration of his body functions.

The late artist was transferred to the medical city in Amman, where he was placed under medical care, but he left life after a struggle with the disease that lasted for more than a year.

The union published a statement through its official account on Facebook, saying, “Believing in the judgment of God and his destiny, and with the great feelings of sadness, the captain of the artists, director Mohamed Youssef Al -Abadi, the Syndicate Council, and members of the General Assembly, mourns the great creative colleague Ibrahim Abu Al -Khair.”

The Jordanian Minister of Culture, Mustafa Al -Rawashdeh, attributed through his account on the “X” platform – “Twitter” previously – saying, “I mourned with more sadness and sorrow, the artist Ibrahim Abu Al -Khair, who died, this morning, after a long suffering with the disease, and after an artistic career full of achievements, during which he presented many of the personalities that represent simple human models, and he was one of the stars who recorded an Arab presence. His family, his fans, and the Jordanian artistic community.

The Jordanian Ministry of Culture also published a picture of the late artist on Facebook with a comment, “Goodbye Ibrahim Abu Al -Khair.”

The Jordanian singer Diana Karazon offered her condolences on Instagram, where she wrote, “We belong to God and to Him we shall return … He moved to the mercy of God, the Jordanian artist Ibrahim Abu Al -Khair after a struggle with the disease. My condolences to his generous family and the Jordanian artistic community.”

A march full of Jordanian drama

Ibrahim Abu Al -Khair was born in 1950, and began his artistic career in the 1970s, where he was famous for embodying the roles of evil in a distinctive comic style. During his artistic career, he presented more than 250 various works between theater, drama and cinema, and his most prominent works are the series “The Falcons of the Desert”, “The Mazz Market”, “Ash of the Years”, and “Saif Allah Al -Musalal: Khaled Bin Al -Walid”, “Tear Farah”, “Pilgrims” and “Tall”.

He also participated in artworks such as “Alewa and Al -Ayyam”, “Al -Faradoui”, “The Wedding of the Falcon”, “Mother of the Chrome”, “The Screaming of the Antique Books”, “The Red Tear”, “The Punishment and the Space”, “Something from the Past”, “The Wind of Poison”, “The Game of Revenge”, and “The Badia Harrat” in 2024, which was his last work before he was retired.

After suffering from kidney failure, the late artist underwent periodic dialysis sessions, which affected his health and exacerbated his condition in recent years.

In December 2023, the Jordanian Minister of Culture, Mustafa Al -Rawashdeh, visited him in the hospital, under the direction of Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, to check on his health.

On the morning of March 5, 2024, he died, leaving an unforgettable artistic legacy and memories of his fans and fans.
