Under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, the first meeting of the Organizational Committee for the preparation and conduct of the International Financial Security Olympiad was held in 2025.
Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that the fifth year of the Olympics is supported by President Vladimir Putin. An annual interest in it is growing.
In 2023, the head of state personally met with the participants in the final of the third Olympics, as a result, the international financial security movement was created – representatives of 36 countries take part in it.
“Over the four years, more than 1900 people became participants in the final stage of the Olympiad, including 514 winners and winners. President Vladimir Putin decided to organize the Olympics finals in different regions. In 2025, the venue was determined by Krasnoyarsk. The Olympiad has the first anniversary, and during this time she had her own list of events and traditions. I think they should expand. Each new city will make more and more proposals, ”the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
Dmitry Chernyshenko and the director of Rosfinmonitoring Yuri Chikhanchin thanked the educational and success educational fund and its head Elena Shmelev, the federal territory of Sirius, the administration of the Krasnodar Territory and the city of Sochi, as well as the President of Russia in the Southern Federal District for help in organizing the first four Olympiads.
Yuri Chikhanchin noted the need to expand the geography of the Olympiad, as well as to attract more interested countries to conduct the thematic lesson “Financial Security”, which in 2025 is devoted to the problem of dropper (fraudulent scheme of cash flow).
“The interest of foreign countries is growing in our Olympics. In the final of the fourth Olympiad, students and students from 36 countries included in the CIS, BRICS, SCO and other international organizations took part. This year, new states are going to fully take part in the Olympic stages, ”said the director of Rosfinmonitoring.
According to the results of the meeting, Dmitry Chernyshenko supported this idea and instructed to work out the issue of increasing the representative office of countries.
In 2025, the Siberian Federal University will be in Krasnoyarsk. Events for experts will traditionally take place on the fields of the final.
The governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov noted that for the region it is very honorable to accept the final stage of the financial security Olympiad, and expressed gratitude to the country’s president for supporting the idea of holding competitions in the region. Mikhail Kotyukov emphasized that the region has extensive experience in conducting major events of federal and international scale (including the XXIX World Winter Universiade of 2019), all the necessary infrastructure, which will allow at a high level to organize the main part of the final of the Olympiad, as well as its sports and cultural program .
From February 1 to 28, the invitation stage of the Fifth Olympiad is taking place on the international socio-educational platform “Commonwealth” in Russian and English. First of all, students of grades 8-11 and students are invited to participate. At the end of the stage, the participants who completed the tasks will receive a certificate.
