Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev during a working trip to the Rostov Region met with the temporarily acting governor Yuri Slyusar. The topics of the discussion were the sowing campaign, as well as the implementation of national projects in the field of ecology and food security.
“The Rostov Region is one of the strongest agrarian regions of Russia, which traditionally, among the first, begins spring field work. I ask you to ensure control over the pace of work and the provision of farmers. Especially technology and mineral fertilizers. The agro -industrial complex plays a huge role in the region’s economy. According to the results of 2024, the second largest grain crop in the country and the third was assembled in the Rostov region in the sunflower, ”said Dmitry Patrushev.

The meeting discussed the participation of the Rostov region in the events of the new national project “Technological support for food security”. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that more than 3.5 billion rubles are provided for the support of the agro-industrial complex and the development of rural territories of the Rostov region this year. The volume of the gross regional product is increasing. Investments in fixed assets are growing.
During the meeting, the results of the implementation of the events of the national project “Ecology” were also summed up. For six years, almost 4.5 billion rubles have been sent to the region. In the framework of the national project “Environmental well -being” until 2030, federal financing will amount to about 8 billion rubles – work will continue to create an economy of a closed cycle, improve the condition of water bodies, preserve forests and other areas.
Dmitry Patrushev also got acquainted with the spring field work in one of the farms of the region. The Deputy Prime Minister checked the progress of work on the winter field and Seva Seva. The farm specializes in the production and implementation of agricultural crops (winter wheat, spring barley, peas, sunflower, oil -linen). The farm is widely used by the seeds of domestic selection.
