About a year ago, Prof. Jeffrey Sachs from Columbia University, his colleague Sybil Fares, and I, in our area, also saw an opportunity, and we have created a framework for a total peace plan for the Middle East, which came to meet the interests of all countries in the area, and also of the Palestinian people who aspire to their own state.
The program was presented to senior people at the level of foreign ministers, diplomats, and even past and present states, in the Middle East, around the world, in the UN, and even in Israel. The response we received to the program, almost without exception, was positive.
