New Delhi. North Western Railways has now decided to install LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches in trains to make the journey of passengers pleasant, comfortable and safe. These LHB coaches are being installed in trains running between Bikaner, Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Jodhpur. After this work is completed by the end of March, trains equipped with LHB coaches will be seen running on the tracks.

According to North Western Railway, Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bikaner and Jodhpur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jodhpur special trains will now operate with LHB rakes.

In train number 04740/04739, Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bikaner special, LHB coaches are being installed from Bikaner from March 30 and from Delhi Sarai Rohilla from April 02.

Apart from this, LHB coaches are being installed in train number 02464/02463, Jodhpur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jodhpur special from Jodhpur from 31st March and from Delhi Sarai Rohilla from 01st April.

In order to provide comfortable and safe travel to the passengers on behalf of Railways, LHB coaches of German technology are manufactured in integral coach factories which do not get badly damaged during accidents. Generally, at present, conventional coaches fitted in trains get completely crushed at the time of an accident, causing huge loss of life and property.

But LHB coaches do not even run over each other in case of an accident. These are equipped with anti climbing feature. At the same time, they are considered safer than ICF i.e. Conventional Coaches. These are also very less in weight. The price of 1 LHB coach is said to be Rs 15 to 20 million. At the same time, after they join the train, the speed also increases to 120 to 130 kilometers per hour.
