Another new train gift to Uttarakhand, after Purnagiri the devotees going to Siddhabali now get a new train, commuting will be easy



New Delhi. Railway Ministry has now gifted a new train to Uttarakhand between Kotdwar-Delhi-Kotdwar. Purnagiri Janshatabdi Express train was operated last week to facilitate the rail route for visiting the famous temple of Uttarakhand, Maa Purnagiri.

Today, Railways has started a new train for the devotees going to Shri Siddhabali Temple located at Kotdwar in Pauri Garhwal district. Now the devotees traveling between Delhi-Kotdwar will be able to get huge benefit of this new train.

Union Minister of Railways, Commerce and Industry and Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal today visited Kotdwar and Delhi Junction through video conferencing. Siddhabali daily Janshatabdi train started between. On this occasion, Education Minister, Government of India, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and other distinguished guests were also present.

On this occasion, Piyush Goyal expressed his gratitude to the railway employees who maintained the supply of medicines, coal and other essential commodities in the country during the time of the pandemic. He said that the Kotdwar-Delhi railway route has almost been electrified. Only 15 kilometers of rail route is left which is likely to be completed by the end of this month. After this, it will be possible to run vehicles between Kotdwar and Delhi on electric engines.

He also told that railway projects are running well in Uttarakhand. In the budget for the year 2021-22, Rs 4432 crore has been allocated to railway projects, which is about 23 times more than the average budget given to the state between 2009 and 2014. Three new rail line projects are going on in Uttarakhand.

Railway line work is going on between Rishikesh and Karnaprayag. Development of Dehradun station has been planned at a cost of Rs 212 crore. Due to the special attention given by the Prime Minister to Uttarakhand, a new wave of development is going on here. This train will connect Kotdwar to the national capital and will bring social and economic development in Uttarakhand.

Departure schedule of the train running between Kotdwar-Delhi Junction

Train number 04047 Kotdwar-Delhi Jn. Regular service of Siddhabali Daily Jan Shatabdi Express will depart from Kotdwar at 03.50 pm from 4th March and reach Delhi Jn at 10.20 pm on the same day. Will reach. In the return direction, regular service of Train No. 04048 Delhi Jn.-Kotdwar Sidhbali Daily Jan Shatabdi Express will start from 04 March at Delhi Jn. It will depart from Kotdwar at 07.00 am and reach Kotdwar at 01.40 pm on the same day.

This train, running with LHB coaches, will have air-conditioned chair car, chair car and two generator cars. Siddhabali Daily Jan Shatabdi Express train will stop at Najibabad, Mouazzampur Narayan, Bijnor, Haldaur, Chand Siau, Mandi Dhanaura, Gajraula, Hapur and Ghaziabad stations in both directions. Today this train is being run as “Inaugural Special Train”.
