Dow ends 4-day losing streak as stocks finish mixed ahead of Nvidia earnings


U.S. stocks finished mixed Wednesday after choppy trading as investors braced for a key earnings report from AI chipmaker Nvidia Corp. after the closing bell.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 139.53 points, or 0.3%, to end at 43,408.47. The blue-chip index ended a four-day losing streak and posted its best day since Nov. 11, according to Dow Jones Market Data.

The S&P 500 finished flat at 5,917.11.

The Nasdaq Composite slipped 21.32 points, or 0.1%, to finish at 18,966.14.
