New Delhi. India’s third largest two-wheeler company TVS is going to launch a new electric scooter soon. The company has recently invested Rs 1,000 crore for the development of electric vehicles. This will include electric scooters, motorcycles and three-wheeler vehicles. One of the upcoming electric scooters may be based on the Creon concept, which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. A scooter with a similar design has been seen during testing in Bengaluru.
Currently TVS sells iQube electric scooter. Recently its updated 2022 model was launched. A total of three variants are available iQube, iQube S and iQube ST. Its design and style is largely similar to the earlier model. 10 color options are also available in it.

2023 TVS Creon Electric Scooter
Compared to the iQube, TVS’s new Creon-based electric scooter will have a faster and more aggressive styling. TVS’s new electric scooter is likely to get a sporty, maxi-style profile. Compared to iQube, it has been designed mainly for performance. Many features like iQube can be seen in it. The riding posture of the spotted scooter seems quite comfortable with its low seat height and ergonomically placed handlebar. The seat is long and wide and there is enough space for the pillion too.

Compared to iQube, the performance of TVS’s new electric scooter will be better. The Creon concept showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo was equipped with a triple battery pack, producing 12 kWh of power. The range of the scooter was claimed at around 80 km and it could accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 5.1 seconds. The top-spec variant of the new iQube is equipped with a dual battery pack.

Features of iQube scooter
The iQube has a 4.4 kW motor, which can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 4.2 seconds. Range on full charge with dual-battery setup is 145 km. Top speed is 82 km per hour. With the new 650 watt charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 5 hours. Like the iQube, TVS SmartXonnect app connectivity features can be found in TVS’s new electric scooter.
