Trump’s envoy talks about Hamas, Netanyahu, Iran and the path of normalization news

|

The American envoy to the Middle East Stephen Witkov talked – in an interview with the media Taker Karlson on Friday evening – several files, including negotiations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which were aborted by Israel, the Iranian nuclear and the future of normalization in the region.

Netanyahu is the concern of fighting

Wittakov said that the reputation obtained by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is that he is more interested in fighting than detainees in the Gaza Strip.

He added that he believes that Netanyahu wants to restore the prisoners if possible, but he believes that pressure on the (Islamic Resistance Movement) is the only way.

He also said that Netanyahu “believes that he does the right thing as he opposes that public opinion because public opinion there (in Israel) wants to restore the hostages.”

“We are in negotiations now, perhaps to stop some of these Israeli raids and may have resolved this conflict through dialogue,” he added.

Hamas without a weapon

Wittouf also said that Hamas wants to stay in Gaza forever and manage the affairs of the Gaza Strip, stressing that Hamas’s rule of Gaza is “unacceptable and unacceptable”, stressing the need to disarm it.

“Hamas wants to stay in Gaza until the end of time and want the rule of the Gaza Strip, and this is unacceptable,” he added.

Wittouf also said, “What we accept for Hamas is the necessity of disarming them, then they may be able to stay there for a short period.”

“If Hamas is allowed to rule Gaza, there will be October 7, every five to ten or 15 years.”

He also said that Washington submitted a proposal to the movement during the last Arab summit, but it rejected it the next day, and “we considered that it is unacceptable to reject them … and after 3 days the Israelis intervened in Gaza and then the negotiations returned.”

Iran and normalization

On the other hand, Witkeov said that Iran cannot become a nuclear state, noting that if Tehran obtains a nuclear bomb, it will create what he described as “North Korea in the Gulf.”

Wittouf expressed his optimism about reaching a solution on the nuclear issue, and said that the next thing regarding Iran is that they are sponsoring armies from the agents.

“If we get rid of these terrorist organizations as threats, we will reach normalization elsewhere,” he added.

He also expressed his belief that Lebanon may be printed with Israel, saying, “I mean, by normalization, a peace treaty between the two countries, and this is already possible and with Syria as well.”
