Trump sends a letter to Iran to negotiate a nuclear agreement News

US President Donald Trump said he wanted to negotiate an agreement related to the nuclear weapons program with Iran, noting that he had sent a letter to Tehran on Thursday, expressing his hope for this.

Trump’s comments came during an interview with the “Fox Business” channel broadcast on Friday, as he expressed his hope to negotiate with Iran, considering that this would be “much better” for her.

He added that Iran “wants to obtain this message,” stressing that “the other alternative is to take action because it cannot be allowed to own another nuclear weapon.”

In the context, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Sergey Ryabkov, Deputy Foreign Minister, discussed with the Iranian Ambassador Kazem Jalali the international efforts to solve the situation related to the Iranian nuclear program.

Khamenei’s directives

The Iranian guide, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, confirmed last February that the experiment had proven that negotiation with the United States is not a “smart, wise, or honorable” step.

Khamenei pointed out that the talks with Washington will not contribute to solving the problems facing Iran, explaining that Tehran made “generous concessions” in the nuclear agreement, but the United States did not abide by it, as former US President Donald Trump canceled it.

The Iranian guide also considered that the Americans are working to change the world map only on paper, and this is not related to reality.

He added that if the United States is accustomed to the security of the Iranian people, we will attack their country’s security without hesitation.

For his part, Iranian President Masoud Boukhshkian stressed last week that Iran is facing a “comprehensive war” with the enemy, stressing the need to prepare for this situation rather than blame the internal parties.

Bouchakian also said he believed that dialogue with Washington might be the best choice, but he confirmed Iran’s commitment to the directives of the Supreme Leader to reject any dialogue with Washington under pressure.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqji also announced that Tehran will not hold direct negotiations with the United States on its nuclear program under threats and pressure.

With Trump returning to the White House in January 2025, Washington reactivated the “maximum pressure” policy on Iran, which exacerbated the economic crisis and high inflation rates.
