The newly constructed parking was inaugurated by BJP State President Adesh Gupta, MP Meenakshi Lekhi and Southern Corporation Mayor Anamika.

Mayor Anamika said that the Southern Corporation is working to strengthen the parking system in all the zones. Tower car parking for 136 cars is functional at Green Park. Automated car parking for 56 cars at Adhchini village will be dedicated to the public next month. The work of automatic car parking for 86 cars is going to start very soon in Nizamuddin Basti. Apart from this, Southern Corporation has purchased M Block Market GK for 399 cars. M-Block Market G for 1 and 210 cars. A new parking is going to be built in K.2.
There will be neither pollution nor fuel consumption in the new parking.
Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti said that this puzzle parking has been built on an area of 978 square meters at a cost of Rs 27.18 crore and 246 cars can be parked in it. The time taken to take out the car from the new parking is only 150 seconds whereas in the conventional parking it takes 15 minutes.
The operation and maintenance cost of this parking will be less than conventional parking due to the presence of only one pilot. There will be neither pollution nor fuel consumption in the new parking. Taking a car through the ramp in a conventional parking lot causes pollution and also consumes fuel.
Car parking will be done by lift only
Apart from this, parking the car in puzzle parking will be easier and more convenient than traditional parking. This parking is vertical and made of steel. He told that this puzzle parking has a shining structure of modular design made entirely of steel. Pollution-free, the car can be parked and retrieved quickly and in less time. There are extensive fire safety arrangements. An underground water tank of 1.50 lakh liter capacity has been provided with pump room. At the same time, the car will be parked and taken out using the lift.
