The Palestinian Abroad Conference launches a protest petition against the Authority’s campaign in Jenin news

The Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad launched a petition affirming that the lives of Palestinians are not a place for complacency or compromise, in protest against the security campaign launched by the Palestinian Authority security services against the resistance fighters in Jenin and its camp.

The petition, titled “The Unity of the Palestinian People in the Face of Genocide and Complicity,” stated that, “At a time when the occupation machine continues to annihilate Gaza and its oppressive practices in the West Bank, the Palestinian Authority bears responsibility for wasting Palestinian blood through its continued security coordination with the occupation, and ignoring it.” for ongoing crimes.

The petition, which was signed by prominent Palestinian and Arab figures, condemned the escalation of authority and the raising of weapons in the face of the resistance, as happened in the Jenin camp.

She stressed that Palestinian blood is a red line, and any negligence in protecting it or collusion with the occupation is an attack on the dignity of the people and their struggle.

She called for an end to this approach, which deepens division and serves the occupation, and for true national unity that preserves Palestinian blood and restores respect to the Palestinian cause.

The head of the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad, Munir Shafiq, said, “The security services must be deterred after they started shedding Palestinian blood in Jenin, especially since they started opening a forbidden and sinful door that will bring ruin to everyone.”

Acting Secretary-General of the Conference Hisham Abu Mahfouz also said that the popular petition reflects the growing rejection of policies targeting the Palestinian people, in light of the ongoing Israeli war of genocide against the Gaza Strip, and the security campaigns implemented by the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank camps, especially in the Jenin camp.

The Palestinian Authority has continued a security campaign in the Jenin camp in the northern occupied West Bank, since December 5, under the pretext of fighting what it describes as “chaos and insecurity” in the camp, amid condemnation from many Palestinian factions and accusations of the authority pursuing Palestinian resistance fighters and seeking to disarm the resistance.

The death toll from the Palestinian security operation reached 11 people: 5 security personnel and 6 civilians.
