The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the martyrdom of more Palestinians due to starvation, while sources in Gaza hospitals said that 57 Palestinians were killed by the occupation army fire in several areas of the Strip during yesterday, Sunday.
The ministry said that 7 people, including two children, were martyred during the past 24 hours due to malnutrition, bringing the total number of victims of starvation and malnutrition to 258 martyrs, including 110 children.
For its part, the government media office in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to implement a systematic policy based on starvation and slow killing in the right of more than 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip, including more than 1.2 million children.
A statement to the office added that the occupation deliberately starves more than 100,000 children and prevents the introduction of basic foods into the sector.
The statement condemned what he called the criminal death engineering policy, holding the occupation and its supporters fully responsible.
A deficit in meeting the needs
The World Food Program stressed that it is doing its best to deliver food aid to its needy in the sector, but this is still much lower than the needs and represents only 47% of the daily goal of the program.
The program also stressed in a post on the “X” platform that organized distribution operations cannot be resumed and the provision of hot meals and bakeries without further aid.
He said that half a million people are on the brink of famine in Gaza, and that the ceasefire is the only way to expand the scope of aid.

Constant bombing
In the developments of the continuous Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip, sources in Gaza hospitals said that 57 Palestinians were killed by the occupation army fire in several areas of the Strip during yesterday, Sunday.
