The occupation continues to storm the West Bank and intends to pay tanks news

The Israeli occupation forces intend to pay tanks in the battles of the occupied West Bank for the first time since the “protective wall” operation in 2002, while they continued to storm towns in the West Bank as part of their continuous operations there for the 33rd day in a row.

The 14th Israeli channel quoted an unnamed security source that it was not called, that the deployment of tanks in the northern West Bank aims to enhance military operations in the region, adding that the decision came “after pressure from the political leadership.”

And on the date of the actual use of these tanks, the source explained that it “may enter the northern West Bank in the near future if needed, within the framework of expanding the scope of military operations”, without mentioning a specific timing.

The source added that this step aims to “send a clear deterrent message to the armed Palestinian factions,” noting that the Israeli army does not rule out the use of the Air Force again if the developments are required.

New incursions

Meanwhile, local sources told the island that the occupation forces stormed the town of Zawata, west of Nablus, in the West Bank.

Before that, the occupation forces stormed both the town of Dhna, the elders, the house of Awa in Hebron, the Al -Disha camp, the Aida camp in Bethlehem, the Mughair and Birzeit in Ramallah.

The occupation forces raided prisoners ‘homes that were scheduled to be released on Saturday as part of the prisoners’ deal, as the occupation broke their homes and destroyed the preparations prepared to receive them. The occupation forces also warned them against holding any festive manifestations, or raising flags or pictures, while receiving their children.

In another development, settlers attacked the Bedouin gatherings in the plains of the town of Jaba, east of occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian sources confirmed that the settlers burned a number of tents in which dozens of Palestinians live. The same sources indicated that the Israeli occupation authorities provided protection to the settlers.

The funeral of a martyr child

On Saturday, the martyr child Rimas Al -Amouri, who was killed by the occupation forces on Friday in Jenin, was held to her last resting place.

Her family said that the occupation forces stipulated the participation of a limited number in the funeral.

The family transferred the body of the child, Rimas, in an ambulance from Ibn Sina Hospital in the city of Jenin, to the house of her relative, adjacent to the camp, to give her the last outlook on her before her burials in the cemetery of the Jenin martyrs.

Medical sources told Al -Jazeera that the child, Rimas, was shot in the back, which led to her martyrdom before arriving at Jenin Governmental Hospital.

Since last January, the Israeli army expanded its military operations in cities and camps for Palestinian refugees in the northern West Bank, especially in the governorates of Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas, leaving 61 Palestinian martyrs according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, as well as the displacement of tens of thousands, widespread destruction in property, homes and infrastructure .
