Both Saudi Arabia and Egypt announced today, Friday, their rejection of Israel’s decision to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, and invited the international community to move to stop the genocide in the besieged sector.

The two countries’ positions came after the approval of the Israeli mini cabinet (cabinet) a plan for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to re -occupy the entire Gaza Strip despite the military establishment’s opposition due to its danger to the lives of prisoners and soldiers.

In a statement, Saudi Arabia condemned its external statement in the strongest terms of the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to occupy the Gaza Strip.

It also categorically condemned Israel’s reluctance to commit starvation, brutal practices and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

Saudi Arabia emphasized that the inhumane ideas and decisions adopted by the Israeli occupation authorities without deterrence confirming that they do not accommodate the emotional, historical and legal links of the Palestinian people with this land, and that he has a right to it.

The Kingdom has warned that the continuation of the international community and the Security Council to stop the Israeli attacks and violations immediately undermine the foundations of the international regime and international legitimacy and threaten security and peace regionally and globally.

Saudi Arabia affirmed that these continuous Israeli crimes require the international community today to take actual, firm and deterrent positions that end the humanitarian catastrophe to which the brotherly Palestinian people are exposed, and managed to achieve the solution on which peace -loving countries are united by implementing the two -state solution and establishing the Palestinian state.

Egyptian condemnation

In turn, Egypt announced today, Friday, its rejection of the decision of Israel to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, and considered it a continuation of the extermination war against the Palestinians.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Egypt condemns in the strongest terms the decision of the Israeli Ministerial Council to develop a plan to occupy the entire Gaza Strip.

She explained that the plan aims to consolidate the illegal Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories, to continue the war of extermination in Gaza, to eliminate all the elements of the life of the Palestinian people, undermine their right to self -determination, build their independent state, and liquidate the Palestinian issue.

Egypt renewed the assertion that Israel’s continued policy of starvation, systematic killing and genocide against the defenseless Palestinian people will only lead to conflict, escalating tension, deepening hatred and spreading extremism in the region.

Egypt called on the international community – including the Security Council and all the concerned parties – to assume their political, legal and moral responsibilities, and the urgent action to stop the exposure of the Urban policy and the arrogance of the power pursued by Israel with the aim of imposing a matter of strength, undermining the opportunities to achieve peace, and eliminating the horizons of a two -state solution.

It also reaffirmed that there is no security or stability that Israel and the region will enjoy except through the establishment of the Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Israeli plan

On Thursday evening, Netanyahu presented during the cabinet meeting a gradual plan to occupy the Gaza Strip despite the military establishment’s opposition because of its danger to the lives of prisoners and soldiers.

The plan provides for the start of the Israeli army to move towards areas that it did not enter previously, with the aim of controlling it in the middle of the Gaza Strip and Gaza City, despite the warnings of the Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir about this step.

According to the offering presented by Netanyahu, the plan begins with the displacement of the Palestinians of Gaza City south, followed by surrounding the city, and then carrying out additional incursions into the centers of residential gatherings, according to the official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation.

During the continuous Israeli genocide since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army occupied the entire Gaza City except for small areas and stayed for several months, before declining in April 2024 from most of its areas after announcing the destruction of the Hamas infrastructure in the city.

From the entire sector, parts of the city of Deir Al -Balah and the Central Governorate camps (Al -Nusayrat, Al -Maghazi and Al -Burij) remained by the Israeli forces, but they destroyed hundreds of buildings in them through air and artillery shelling, according to Palestinian officials.

The regions that the Israeli forces did not occupy only represented by about 10 to 15% of the area of the Strip, according to Anatolia quoted local officials.

Israel has previously occupied the Gaza Strip 38 years between 1967 and 2005.

With American support, Israel has been committing since October 7, 2023 genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and the orders of the International Court of Justice to stop them.

The Israeli genocide left 61 thousand and 258 martyrs, 152 thousand and 45 injured Palestinians, and more than 9 thousand missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people and the famine that have been tired of many, including dozens of children.
