Pinchas Inbar: A hint that the Prime Minister’s Office is aware of the connection between its actions and the destruction of the house

Almost two years have passed since October 7. I remember that morning as if it were yesterday – how I woke up to photos on television, how I thought it wasn’t real, how I slowly understood that our world was collapsing. The massacre, the kidnapping, the beginning of the war – everything we thought was a red line suddenly collapsed under our feet.

Even now, when I restore that day again and again, I have no feeling. I have only a continuing breakdown. I, as part of Israeli society – and especially the secular – experience destruction. Not security, but something much deeper: moral, human, existential.
