2024 was undoubtedly one of the most difficult and complex years of Israeli society. The October 7 attack, the war that followed, the uncertainty they gave rise to, the social and economic crises and the internal tensions that emerged-all created a explosive environment, which also hit the most sensitive populations: the children.
In the shadow of the general crisis, there was a sharp increase in the number of children found from their homes and transmitted to boarding schools or foster families, in light of the worst of many families.
