Panic among foreign students in the US: Hundreds lost the visa, the fear of increased deportation

2024 was undoubtedly one of the most difficult and complex years of Israeli society. The October 7 attack, the war that followed, the uncertainty they gave rise to, the social and economic crises and the internal tensions that emerged-all created a explosive environment, which also hit the most sensitive populations: the children.

In the shadow of the general crisis, there was a sharp increase in the number of children found from their homes and transmitted to boarding schools or foster families, in light of the worst of many families. More and more children are currently coming with distinct symptoms of post-trauma, anxiety, extreme reactions and violent behaviors.
