Denis Manturov donated a batch of cars for the needs of a special military operation

First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, head of the executive committee of the Popular Front Mikhail Kuznetsov and head of the DPR Denis Pushilin took part in the ceremony of handing over to the front more than 100 vehicles of various models, which will be used to move military personnel, transport ammunition and food, evacuate the wounded, as well as for operational rotation assault groups. The supply of equipment was organized thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the All-Russian Popular Front as part of the implementation of the tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The transfer of transport took place in the Rostov region.

“In total, the Government’s reserve fund ensured the purchase of more than 5.2 thousand cars. They are intended for units of five military districts, the volunteer corps, the Airborne Forces and the Navy. Today, about 2.2 thousand cars have already been issued to them. And we expect that the remaining volume will be ready for delivery by the end of January next year,” said Denis Manturov.

“Our soldiers protect us every day – both on weekends and holidays, protecting civilians, liberating cities and villages, fulfilling the goals and objectives set by the President. On these pre-holiday days, we are happy to transfer vehicles and equipment to the military that will help them bring our victory closer, and most importantly, we convey the warmth and care of the Russians, the whole country, which believes and supports our guys,” said Mikhail Kuznetsov, head of the executive committee of the Popular Front.

The vehicles are additionally equipped with electronic warfare systems and drone detectors. In addition to UAZs, deliveries to the front line of a wide range of vehicles have been organized, including Lada Niva models, Sollers pickups, armored Burans, ATVs and multi-purpose buggies.

“All this equipment is needed by our soldiers who defend the interests of the country in very difficult conditions at the front. Friends, we have good New Year holidays ahead. Let me congratulate you all. May good luck and prosperity accompany you and your loved ones in the new year. Take care of yourself! – said the First Deputy Prime Minister.

“Only words of gratitude to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Popular Front. Such help is an opportunity to bring our victory closer, which we are all really looking forward to. Donbass strives for a peaceful life, and we in the republic are doing everything to focus on development and creation. But our main efforts are aimed at supporting the front. For residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic, it is absolutely clear what our soldiers are doing on the front line now, bringing the long-awaited liberation of our territory and, of course, victory closer,” Denis Pushilin emphasized.

As part of his working trip to the regions, Denis Manturov also visited a number of industrial enterprises of the Donetsk People’s Republic. He visited the Donfrost plant, a refrigeration equipment manufacturing enterprise whose products are not inferior in quality to foreign manufacturers of household appliances. In addition, at the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant, specializing in the production of cast iron, steel and alloys, Denis Manturov took part in the launch ceremony after a major overhaul and modernization of the 250 mill.
