The results of the XXI International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) were summed up in Romania. Members of the Russian team won three gold and two silver medals. The children were congratulated on their high results by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov.

“Congratulations to our schoolchildren – medalists of the International Natural Science Olympiad for Juniors. They competed in three academic subjects at once: physics, chemistry and biology. The high results of the winners and prize-winners show that the younger generation is able to contribute to ensuring the country’s technological leadership, developing simultaneously in several directions. I wish the guys the realization of their talents and success,” said Dmitry Chernyshenko.

“I congratulate our team on their well-deserved awards at the International Junior Science Olympiad. By your example, you inspire your peers to study physics, chemistry and biology, to participate in competitions and win. We pay great attention to the popularization of natural science subjects, and your choice will definitely become the key to future professional success,” noted Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov.

At the International Junior Science Olympiad in Romania, gold medals were awarded to:
