Dear colleagues! I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers.
Thanks to farmers, their hard work and responsibility, food security is fully ensured in Russia. And the significance of this is difficult to overestimate.
Today our country is proud of one of the most powerful and technologically advanced agro-industrial complexes in the world.
Relying on a historically strong foundation and introducing the most modern technologies allows us to achieve serious success. We fully provide ourselves with basic food products and supply them to more than 150 countries around the world.
To ensure stable operation of the industry in Russia, a strong platform of state support has been formed at all stages – from creating a business to scaling it and entering foreign markets. Special attention is paid to the quality of training of specialized specialists who will eventually come to work in the agricultural industry, as well as to the creation of comfortable living conditions in rural areas of Russia.
Colleagues! I would like to emphasize that behind all the industry’s results lies the daily work of dedicated people. More than 6 million people are employed in domestic agriculture – these are agronomists, breeders, geneticists, veterinarians, machine operators, livestock specialists, food production technologists, agricultural engineers and representatives of dozens of other professions. I thank each of you for your love for your native land and the desire to increase the achievements of the Russian agro-industrial complex.
