Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev took part in the final collegium of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosavision). The Deputy Prime Minister noted the high results of the work of the department in 2024. Over the past year, 111.7 million passengers (+5.9% to the level of 2023) were transported by Russian airlines, stable operation of more than 2 thousand aircraft (aircraft and helicopters) was ensured, and a high level of flight security was preserved.
“Russian aviation has always been a support of the state. Today it demonstrates a real nature-in difficult geopolitical conditions, we managed to preserve the aviation fleet, a professional personnel core and scientific and production potential. This was the result of the painstaking work of the teams of airlines, airports, maintenance enterprises and educational organizations, which, under the leadership of the Federal Air Transport Agency and with the support of the Russian government, serve the interests of our citizens daily. Ahead of us, we have large -scale tasks set by the President of Russia: increasing the aviation mobility of the population by one and a half times by 2030 in relation to the level of 2023 and, of course, the development of new domestic aviation equipment, ”said Vitaliy Savelyev.
The deputy chairman of the government separately noted the role of unmanned aviation systems (BAS) in the development of domestic aviation. According to the results of 2024, more than 2.7 thousand domestic bass will carry out regular tasks in the interests of federal executive bodies and companies with state participation.
“We see how effective in agriculture, the road industry, during the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations and search and rescue operations are effective. Support for domestic manufacturers and the introduction of simplified digital solutions in the field of bass certification are long -term investments in the technological sovereignty and competitiveness of Russia, ”Vitaly Savelyev emphasized.
