The technical launch of the first all -season resort “Mamison” in North Ossetia took place on March 14. Now for the guests of the Mamison Gorge, 14 km of a variety of descents and two cable roads operate.
During a visit to the North Caucasus, the infrastructure of the new complex was examined by the Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov. Together with the head of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania Sergey Avayyllo, CEO of the Caucasus.rf Andrei Yumshanov and Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary to the North Caucasus Federal District, Vladimir Nadiktik, the Minister climbed the cable car to a height of 2950 m and got acquainted with the objects of Mamison.
“This large -scale tourist complex was erected as soon as possible within the framework of the national project“ Tourism and hospitality “, which is aimed at creating a new tourist infrastructure throughout the country, training for the industry, and the popularization of domestic tourism. The new resort “Mamison“ is a world -class multifunctional complex, which includes advanced ski infrastructure, modern engineering networks and a variety of tourist facilities. All the conditions for classes of active sports, family leisure and recreation have been created here, ”Vice-Prime Minister Alexander Novak noted in his appeal on the occasion of the opening of the resort.
“The opening of the resort“ Mamison “is another step towards achieving the goal set by our President Vladimir Putin: by 2030, to practically double the tourist flow in the country – up to 140 million people and increase the contribution of the industry to GDP to 5%. I am sure this resort will become a new attraction for lovers of outdoor activities. It will allow you to attract even more travelers to the North Caucasus and will help in the performance of the national project “Tourism and hospitality”. I thank the builders for the work done and congratulations to residents and guests of the region on its opening! ” – said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The resort was built on the territory of the Mamison Special Economic Zone, and 10 residents with projects for 16 billion rubles of investment were registered here. Two of them already receive guests in the format of eco -core. The resort is a restaurant, cafes and other power points, equipment rental is open.
Due to republican financing, a road was built, a tunnel was restored and infrastructure was partially created. The Caucasus.rf Corporation built engineering communications, ski facilities and a large parking for 460 machines. The Kalak Hound Cable Road Road is 3.3 km with a length of 3.3 km in the North Caucasus.
“Mamison is the first large ski resort that was built and commissioned in Russia after the departure of Western partners for the supply of equipment and technologies. It was a big challenge for the team. Tried to maintain quality and deadlines. The last six months, the construction was actually conducted in several days off shifts. The main capacity of power here is under our feet – these are the necessary communications that can provide electricity, water with a large modern resort with an annual tourist flow of 300-350 thousand guests, which will become “Mamison“ after a few years. We really believe in it and already get a lot of positive feedback from riders, experienced tourists, expert community, ”said Andrei Yumshanov.
The Mamison gorge has great potential: according to the development plan, more than 100 km of tracks and 35 lifts will gradually be built here.
The grand opening of Mamison will be held in the fall, on the eve of the new ski season, but the Kavkaz.rf team pays special attention to the development of all -season activities now. The resort is planned to be developed as a center of contemporary art and a place for art residents. On the agenda – work with a legacy, because very close are the ancient settlements of Lisri, Zgil, Kalak, Kamsho, healing sources and temples.
It is planned that by 2030, 43 km of tracks and 5 lifts will be opened at the resort, and almost 3 thousand places of accommodation and 2.6 thousand jobs will be created along with residents. The resort will be able to take 345 thousand tourists a year.
