First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting on the development of energy engineering. The event was attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, the head of the Ministry of Energy Sergey Tsivilev, as well as representatives of business – manufacturers of energy equipment and generating companies.
“Since 2022, a large counter -sanction work has been done in Energomash. Now it is important to maintain the gained pace of ensuring technological sovereignty. In order to avoid critical dependence on imported equipment and technologies in a strategically important energy sector, it is necessary not to deviate from previously made decisions to support domestic decisions. At the same time, manufacturers must guarantee compliance with the obligations of the deadlines for time for timely introduction of new generating capacities as part of the contract, ”said Denis Manturov.
The meeting participants discussed the accumulated competencies and capabilities of Russian engineering, as well as the correspondence of existing and promising industrial capacities to the needs of the Russian energy system.
“The Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Industry and Trade must reduce the balance of the need for energy equipment until 2042, based on medium -term and long -term plans for the construction and modernization of generating facilities. It is also about steam -gas turbines and steamer installations. This will make it possible to correlate the capabilities of Russian industry with the needs of demand for specialized equipment from the energy companies and form a guaranteed basic demand for it, ”said Alexander Novak.
Since 2014, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has been implementing an import substitution program in energy engineering. The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported on its results. “During this period, the energy equipment market in our country has increased three times, and production volumes increased four times, including 36%last year. Given the insignificant export component, as a result, the domestic share increased from 57 to 82% in monetary terms. The volume of state support for this period amounted to about 28 billion rubles, ”said Anton Alikhanov.
According to the head of the Ministry of Energy, according to the approved plans, in the long term, the need for the energy industry in generating equipment exceeds 77 GW. “This is due to the growth of demand for electricity, the need to commission new and modernization of existing generating capacities. The Ministry of Energy of Russia is formed by an industry order for the production of turbines and basic energy equipment until 2042 with the implementation of production control at the main production points, ”said Sergey Tsivilev.
