About 300 thousand students and schoolchildren became participants in the competitions of the regional stage of the All -Russian Championship in professional skills that are currently taking place throughout the country.

Competitions in the competencies of the Championship “Professionals” will last until March 15. Competitions in the competencies of the High Technology Championship will be held before the end of April.

“The popularity of the All -Russian Championship in professional skill shows that in Russia there are many masters of their craft, who develop our country and bring the achievement of national goals set by President Vladimir Putin. Competitions for the competencies of “professionals“ have already ended in 55 out of 89 regions, the number of contestants is approaching 300 thousand. We wish them all interesting tasks, high results and memorable experience, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko, deputy chairman of the government.

Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov drew attention to that it is especially gratifying to see such a lively interest of the children in working specialties in the year of the 85th anniversary of the SPO system.

“We are once again convinced that the All -Russian Championship in Professional Skill is a powerful impulse for the development of the modern SPO system. These are the most popular competencies for the economy, work in a close bundle with thousands of employers throughout the country, high standards for training specialists and the opportunity to realize themselves in their favorite business, ”said Sergey Kravtsov.

The list of competencies of the regional stage of the championship consists of 296 items: 281 competence of the Championship “Professionals” (the most popular and popular) and 15 competencies of the High Technology Championship (innovative).

Competitions are held according to the most popular competencies in the labor market. In the direction of “Industry”, “welding technologies”, “engineering design of the CAD”, and for the “construction” industry, “electrical installation”, “painting and decorative work” were the most popular.

Among the competencies most in demand by the regions were “teaching in elementary grades”, “Repair and maintenance of cars”, “Cooking” and “Preschool education”.

Students of colleges and technical schools take part in the competitions (main category), as well as juniors – schoolchildren from 14 years old. Each contestant is accompanied by an expert.

This year, the final (interregional) stage of the competition will be held from April 1 to 30 at the sites of a number of regions of the country and federal technology parks; From April 1 to August 17 – at the sites of enterprises – partners of the championship.

More than 6 thousand people will become contestants: about 4.8 thousand students and over 1.4 thousand schoolchildren.

The final of the High Technology Championship will be held in September 2025 in Veliky Novgorod. The finals of the Championship in professional skill “Professionals” on three thematic blocks of competencies are planned: in May in Nizhny Novgorod, August-in Kaluga and November-in St. Petersburg.
