Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev held a meeting on improving the regulatory framework in the field of solid utilities. It was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, relevant committees of the State Duma, the Federation Council and the Russian Ecological Operator PPC.
“The branch of the handling of solid utilities has high social significance. We must show flexibility and respond promptly to the needs arising, including legal regulation. I thank senators and deputies for organizing the organization of work in the field of handling solid municipal waste are always among you among the priority on the agenda. We already managed to find compromises on bills on hard -to -reach territories, on the load on the axis of garbage trucks. A list of priority regulatory legal acts has been formed, the adoption of which is necessary until the end of 2025. These are 14 initiatives that relate to the work of regional operators, the maintenance of container sites and the creation of infrastructure for waste management.
According to the results of the meeting, Dmitry Patrushev instructed the Ministry of Natural Resources to speed up the preparation of the most popular changes. The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized the need to synchronize the work with senators and deputies so that this year the maximum number of initiatives is accepted.
