Denis Manturov met with the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin
The First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov held a working meeting in Moscow with the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin. The main topic of the meeting was the participation of the region in the implementation of national projects of technological leadership.
Gleb Nikitin emphasized that enterprises and scientific organizations of the region have competencies in order to play a leading role in the implementation of new national projects. In the region, in priority, the sectors of chemistry, nuclear industry, metallurgy, machine tools, automotive industry, shipbuilding and aircraft industry, to which, in particular, will be oriented, supporting support measures within the framework of national projects are developing. In addition, the region is actively involved in the implementation of the national BAS project: a specialized scientific and production center has been created, an experimental legal regime for drones flights has been introduced.
The listed areas provide more than half of industrial production in the region. The governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region noted that the region is as interested in participating in new national projects and achieving the goals set by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the government.
