In Yakutsk, the winners of the third All -Russian shooting tournament were determined by distant distances dedicated to the memory of the legendary sniper of the Great Patriotic War, Hero of the Soviet Union Fedor Matveevich Okhlopkov. Competitions were held under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev.

“Thanks to the tournament, we touched the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. If we talk about the results, the landfill record is set – 2.1 thousand m. Despite the difficult wind situation and the fact that the work took place under difficult conditions, the range of shots increases. So, those lines are moving on which we will not let the enemy. Once again, I thank the participants who came from the combat contact line, I wish them good luck and to us all a peaceful sky above our heads. We will definitely win. Those who did not take prizes, I want to say that you have taken the next step up today: you have learned something from your competitors and have become stronger. We will continue to work together. Not only because a special military operation continues, but because Russia should be strong. We need experienced masters of our craft, we need both boys and girls who will pick up a 22 mm rifle in schools and take their first shot in their hands. We need to protect our homeland, ”said Yuri Trutnev.

“The level of participants is growing. The fact that at night has been achieved at a distance of 2.1 thousand m suggests that the training of specialists is becoming more and more effective. The Center “Sulus“, built on the initiative of Yuri Petrovich Trutnev, becomes such a center of competence in firing distances. Sniper art is what has always distinguished Yakutia. We have preserved these traditions, and now, thanks to the training grounds, we help our country to new, higher bonds, ”said the head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Iceen Nikolaev.

The tournament was organized by the apparatus of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Committee in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Federation of Combat Sniping of Russia, the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Center for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education “Warrior”.

In the Sulus Training and Remanding Center, more than 130 best shooters from different regions of the country, including participants in a special military operation, competed in day and night shooting. Among those who showed their skill and went to the fire line – existing military personnel, employees of law enforcement agencies and special units, and civil fans of shooting.

To receive admission to the main stages of the competition, the participants had to go through qualifications, hit a target with a diameter of 400 mm at a distance of 1 thousand m from two shots.

The third place of the “Night” stage was won by the sniper Evgeny Solovyov and the adjustor Sergei Kirichenko. The second place of the stage “Night” was taken by a sniper with a call sign of the hussar and a correctionist with the call sign Hunter. The first place of the “Night” stage with a result of 2.1 thousand m has a sniper with a call sign of a physical and a correctiveman with a call sign. The result was a record of the tournament. And for this an additional prize was awarded – a special certificate for 3 million rubles.

The third place of the stage “Day” was taken by Sniper Sergey Antonovsky and adjustor Alexander Antonovsky. The second place of the stage “Day” is a sniper with a call sign White and a good call sign with a call sign. The first place of the stage “Day” with a result of 2 thousand m was awarded to Sniper Leonid Arkhangelsk and adjustor Mikhail Efimov.

The holders of the third place of both stages were awarded a monetary prize of 500 thousand rubles. Silver winners were awarded the all -terrain vehicle “Falcon”. The main prize of the competition is a pickup-impeller.

By the decision of the judicial board, a number of special prizes were established. The first special prize – battle knives from the chief judge of the tournament Yuri Trutnev – is awarded for the courage to Sergey Kluga and Maxim Tokarev, who tried to hit the target at a distance of 3.2 thousand m.

Based on the results of the two stages of the tournament, special prizes were presented from the Russian combat sniping Federation, weapons and equipment manufacturers.

Summing up the results of the tournament, Yuri Trutnev said that the tournament could become international: “A number of friendly Russia are inviting to the future tournament, so participants should be ready for even higher competition.”
