Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko held a working meeting with the head of the Republic of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg. It discussed the development of science, education, youth policy, tourism and sports in the region.

“As our president Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin emphasizes, Tuva’s potential is very large, and it is important to effectively disclose it. An important role is played by the education and training of specialists. About 11 thousand new places in schools and kindergartens were created, 48 schools were repaired. The construction of the educational infrastructure continues: 144 growth centers “Growth Center“ Growth “, the Center for Digital Education of Children“ IT-Cub “and School Technopots“ Quantorium ”. Your students master the demanded engineering and pedagogical specialties,” said Deputy Prime Minister.

Within the framework of the Federal Project “Professor”, three clusters were created in the areas priority for the subject: the construction industry, the mining industry, and agriculture.

Dmitry Chernyshenko emphasized that in Tyu, much attention is paid to working with youth. “This brings results. In the republic, 92% of children today believe in the possibility of self -realization in Russia – the indicator is higher than the national average. Thanks to your victories in the competition “Region for young people“ in 2022 and 2025, the subject received about 100 million rubles for the repair and equipment of youth spaces, ”he added.

In addition, volunteering is developing. More than 23 thousand volunteers from the republic were registered on the Dobr.rf platform. Volunteers periodically send humanitarian goods for fighters to the zone of special military operations.

The republic as a whole actively supports their participants and their family.

Dmitry Chernyshenko and Vladislav Khovlyg also discussed the development of tourism in the region.

“How the president emphasizes, the tourist industry is one of the most promising for Tyva. This is due to the rich, interesting and unique nature of the region. And one of the main tasks is to ensure an increase in tourist flow, creating modern infrastructure, offering interesting tourist programs. This is helped by your active participation in the national project “Tourism and hospitality,” said Deputy Prime Minister.

He added that the number of guests who come to the republic is growing. Last year, there were 14% more than a year earlier. The number of hotel rooms also increases – last year there were more by 13%. On 2025–2027, under a single subsidy, the subject also allocated 90 million rubles for the construction of modular hotels.

Particular attention was paid to the topic of sports.

“To evaluate the effectiveness of the regions in the sports field will be a special rating. Tuva shows good results. At the end of 2024, you have a level of citizens’ involvement in systematic sports is 58%, and the level of support for sports facilities is about 82%. You pay attention to innovative sports, two regional federations work in the republic, ”said the deputy chairman of the government.

He also emphasized that funds were allocated for the creation of sports infrastructure in the region according to Fedrojects “Sport-Life” and “Business Sprint (I choose sports)”, and now they are allocated as part of a comprehensive state development of physical education and sports.
