For eight months of 2025, in the framework of the federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”, work was completed in 2210 public spaces and 985 courtyards. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

Since the beginning of the year, improvement of about 3.2 thousand public and courtyards throughout the country has been completed. Work on projects are continued in parallel – projects. The winners of the All -Russian contest of the creation of a comfortable urban environment.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that thanks to the systemic work of regional teams under the leadership of governors in settlements, unique, demanded places are created, which radically change the environment for the life and relaxation of millions of Russians, and also stimulate the local economy.
“The Federal Project“ Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment “, preserved since 2025 as part of the national project“ Infrastructure for life “by decision of the President of Russia, is a key tool for the integrated development of the regions. Since 2019, 77 thousand public and courtyard territories were landscaped, and 934 projects were implemented – the winner of the All -Russian competition of the best projects for creating a comfortable urban Wednesdays. And it is important to note that the work within the project brings not only a social, but also a significant economic effect.
For example, in Bryansk, the improvement of the adjacent territory of the military memorial along Pochtova Street was completed. The main idea of the project is to perpetuate the memory of the feat of Soviet soldiers. Experts updated the sculptural composition, installed a new metal frame, lined it with Karelian and Ural granite with a total area of 1 thousand square meters. m. Memorial steles with the names of the dead soldiers were installed and a zone for celebrations was improved. 3 thousand square meters were laid on the territory. m new tiles, updated information signs, benches and urns are installed, vertical landscaping technologies using coniferous trees were used.
Similar work is carried out in the Rostov region. For example, in the cavalier rural settlement, a park area with an area of 7.5 thousand square meters is landscaped. m, adjacent to the monument to the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War.
In the Arkhangelsk region, the Strelka city park in the Nyandom was transformed, located in a picturesque place of merger of rivers. The pedestrian paths were updated, new benches and art objects have been installed, a modern children’s play area is equipped. In addition, a quarter of wooden low -rise buildings in the modern style with the creation of a museum quarter was restored in the Nyandom, which has already led to a significant increase in tourist flow.
In the Irkutsk region in the city of Usol-Sibirsky, the project “City from the tram window: molecular heritage” on Mendeleev and International streets was implemented. The space dedicated to the scientific heritage of the city is divided into thematic clusters symbolizing chemical elements. Interactive objects, smart benches, light installations and art objects are installed-models of molecules.
Also completed work on the integrated improvement of the territory in front of the City House of Culture and the Geomash plant in the Shchigra of the Kursk region.
