
Dmitry Patrushev appreciated the implementation of the Federal Project “General Cleaning”
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev held a meeting dedicated to the work within the framework of the Federal Project “General Cleaning” of the National Project “Environmental Welfare”. The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Transport, Rosatom and other interested departments.
“To fulfill the tasks set by the President of Russia and ensure favorable living conditions of people in our country, we continue to work to eliminate objects of accumulated environmental harm. Work is carried out in several directions. A list of 50 objects to be liquidated in the 2030 horizon is formed. In addition, it is important to complete the three largest projects-this is the cleaning of the accumulated waste of the former industrial sites of Usolekhimprom, the Baikal Pulp and Domestic and the Labor Combine, as well as the Red Bor landfon. In total, until 2030, to the implementation of the Federal Project, General Cleaning, “It is planned to allocate more than 140 billion rubles,” said Dmitry Patrushev.
Currently, Rosprirodnadzor and Rospotrebnadzor are assessing the negative impact of hazardous objects on the environment in the Russian regions. Based on the data obtained, a list of objects priority for liquidation is formed.
In addition, the “Federal Ecological Operator” of the State Corporation “Rosatom” eliminates the three largest facilities in the Irkutsk and Leningrad regions. Also, from this year, the company has begun designing protective structures at the Komsomolsky Sernoid Plant.
The meeting also discussed the clearing of the water area from sunken ships. In 2025, five objects will be disposed of in the Far East.
At the same time, Dmitry Patrushev instructed the Ministry of Transport, Rosmorrechflot and the Ministry of Natural Resources, together with the Far Eastern regions, until the end of the year, to form a subject -object plan for lifting the vessels until 2030 and proceed to its implementation.
