On September 18, the rally of the World Youth Festival launched. The event united 2 thousand people – young people from all regions of Russia and 120 states of the world – Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin and North America.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko announced the guests and participants of the SFM of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The head of state noted the success of the World Youth Festival, held in Sirius in 2024, and the need to further continue international youth cooperation, for which all the necessary conditions are created in our country: “It is important that such a demanded, fruitful dialogue continues. These goals are international friendship clubs created to implement your joint projects and initiatives, expand the opportunities for professional dialogue for boys and girls who came to us from the milestone. On the basis of year -round youth educational centers, summer schools were first earned. And of course, it is gratifying that such large -scale festival events as the current rally will take place in our country annually. I wish you success, implementing the planned plans and all the best. ”

The participants in the rally were young leaders developing in one of the 7 spheres: media, creative industries and creativity, public administration, entrepreneurship, sports, education and science, digitalization and IT.

“You speak different languages, but you are united by one thing – this is a desire for friendship and perfection. We will succeed! ” -Vice-Prime Minister turned to the participants.

He appreciated the rally of the Youth World Festival, greeted foreign bloggers – participants in the educational program from the Directorate of the World Youth Festival and the “Workshop of the New Media”, and also saw the immersion show “Symphony of Time: Feel, Live, Create”, thanks to which foreign participants are introduced to unique Russian culture and history.

In addition, Dmitry Chernyshenko discussed the projects of the participants of the Universal Youth Festival aimed at developing international cooperation and scaling abroad. Among them: “Thematic summer schools in areas”, “Thematic blogs as a tool for preserving the historical memory and promoting the objective image of Russia abroad”, “Restoring monuments to Soviet soldiers in Europe as preserving historical memory”, “Family of Russia: We meet friends”.

The Deputy Prime Minister especially noted the project “Adaptation of foreign students studying in Russia” of a student from Morocco Suan Ayuba. This participant focused on the adaptation of foreign students, proposing to introduce a mentoring system, create a bank of the best practices and implement educational programs to increase competencies for university staff. Dmitry Chernyshenko recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin set a goal – to increase to 500 thousand the number of foreign students in Russian universities by 2030 as part of the Russian Federation in the world of the national project “Youth and Children”.

According to the results of the pitching session, the Deputy Prime Minister supported the voiced initiatives, proposed to finalize them and discuss the results of the implementation at the international festival of youth in Krasnoyarsk in 2026.

“On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, we continue the legacy of the World Youth Festival, which took place last year at Sirius. Next year in Krasnoyarsk we will hold an international youth festival for 10 thousand people. Until 2030, we plan to unite at our international events about 40 thousand participants – foreign citizens and Russians. All this is carried out within the framework of the federal project “Russia in the world” of the national project “Youth and Children”, which was launched by the Head of State this year. We do everything so that young people see real Russia with their own eyes, and realize that Russia is their friend, partner, a country where you can be yourself and get support to realize your initiatives. So, after the rally of 200 foreign participants will go to 10 cities where they are waiting for a regional program, ”said Grigory Gurov, head of Rosmolodzh.

Gleb Gleb, Gleb Nikitin, noted that Nizhny Novgorod invariably and constantly collects the most talented, ambitious and determined young people: “It is no coincidence that our city became the first youth capital of Russia, and now we are receiving guests from 120 countries of the world. Our sunsets and monuments of nature, architectural attractions and creative spaces, unique folk art crafts-we are ready to show guests of 100 percent real Russia. A large team works to ensure that young people can discuss global issues, in an atmosphere of creating to exchange experience, find like -minded people and most importantly – to establish contacts with friends from other states for joint projects. Therefore, the rally should be another noticeable step in the development of international activities of the region. I have no doubt that thanks to the Nizhny Novgorod hospitality, the participants will feel at home here. ”

After the completion of the main measures of the rally in Nizhny Novgorod, 200 foreign participants will go to the regional program. They will see 10 regions of Russia. In addition, 100 people will visit the interval competition in Moscow.

Recall, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the preservation and development of the heritage of the World Youth Festival, festival events in Russia will be held annually. The next World Youth Festival for 20 thousand participants will be held in 2030. In 2026, the international youth festival for 10 thousand participants will be held. Between them, the thematic ranges of the World Youth Festival for 2 thousand participants will be held annually.

The organizer of the Universal Festival of Youth is the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the event co -organizer is the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the operator is the Directorate of the World Youth Festival. The event is implemented as part of the national project “Youth and Children.”
