Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko held a meeting of the organizational committee for the preparation and conduct of the V International Financial Security Olympiad in 2025.

It was attended by the director of the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring Yuri Chikhanchin, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Dmitry Afanasyev, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov, and. O. The rector of the Siberian Federal University Maxim Rumyantsev, General Director of ANO “National Priorities” Sofia Malyavin, representatives of other interested departments and organizations.

Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that the Olympiad is supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin and today includes professional, educational, sports and spiritual and moral tracks.

“Until the final stage of the V International Financial Security Olympiad remains less than two weeks. For the first time, the final of the Olympiad will be held in Krasnoyarsk on the basis of the Siberian Federal University from September 29 to October 3, 2025. Despite the international situation, we managed not only to save, but also to expand the level of organization and conduct of the Olympics. Almost 600 children from 40 states will come to Krasnoyarsk. This year, five foreign states joined the Olympics: Bangladesh, Jordan, Madagascar, Türkiye and Uruguay, ”the Deputy Prime Minister said.

He instructed to publish a thematic booklet in Russian and English after the final and make a documentary.

As Yuri Chikhanchin emphasized, the culmination of the professional track will be the Forum of the International Financial Security Movement, at which scientists and experts in an interactive dialogue regime will discuss the relevant trends in the digital sphere, the risks and possible ways to minimize them.

“For the first time with the participation of students, the second informal meeting of representatives of the BRICS countries will be held on the fields of the final week, which will be devoted to the exchange of experience in the implementation of projects of movement in the space of the association. A meeting of the Council of the International Network Institute in the field of under/FT will be dedicated to discussing the further development of movement, the possibilities of using its scientific and educational potential for solving priority financial security tasks, ”said Yuri Chikhanchin.

The Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, the head of the Executive Committee of the Olympiad, Dmitry Afanasyev, added that, in addition to the main competition, the program includes more than 100 educational, cultural, and sports events. Including 6 panel discussions and more than 30 master classes are planned. In addition to the events for participants, the business program includes events for the expert community.

The governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov said that the preparation of the city for a large -scale event is going according to plan.

“Today, all the main issues of preparing for the final of the International Olympiad are closed: from logistics to accommodation. All preparatory measures are taking place in accordance with the schedule. We pay special attention to ensuring safety and medical support of participants. Separately, they developed a rich cultural, sports and excursion program in order to introduce guests to Krasnoyarsk. The project team makes maximum efforts to create an atmosphere of hospitality at each object of a large event, ”said Mikhail Kotyukov.
