“In the Chuvash Republic, a comprehensive work is carried out aimed at improving the living conditions of citizens. In the region, by 2030, according to the national project “Infrastructure for life, it is planned to improve the quality of the environment for living by 30% in 19 strong settlements, in which more than 790 thousand people live, or about 67% of the population of the Chuvash Republic. The implementation of the integrated development of territories was started. A total of 10 such territories with an area of 83 hectares. Also in the region are positive dynamics for housing entry – since the beginning of this The year 510 thousand square meters, which is 13% more than a year earlier not to reduce the pace.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that a lot of work in the region is underway to implement infrastructure projects at the expense of budget loans. At a meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission on Regional Development, an application was approved by the Chuvash Republic for the Treasury Infrastructure Credit in the amount of 2.44 billion rubles to reconstruct objects of treatment plants. Modernization of communal infrastructure is carried out in the region as part of other programs. Including with the participation of financial support from the federal budget, 31.7 km of engineering networks were commissioned.
The parties discussed the implementation of the road activity plan until 2030, including the reconstruction of the M-7 Volga highway, as well as the construction of healthcare facilities.
“I am grateful to Marat Shakirzyanovich for a very tight joint work on large -scale projects, which are priority for the republic. We conduct a detailed coordination of the stages of the implementation of each of them in the near future. In particular, we discussed the construction of a new complex of the Republican Clinical Hospital, which received the support of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and will improve the quality of medical care to residents of Chuvashia. In the field of development of road farming, they considered the issues of road construction. According to the project of reconstruction of the M-7 Automobiles “Volga“ near the city of Cheboksary, there is an approval for the speedy beginning of construction and installation work. And the repair of the airport’s platform was already begun as part of the list of presidential instructions, ”said the head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev.
The region is working on the modernization of public transport. Due to the measures of federal support in 2023–2024, 47 buses and 40 trolleybuses were delivered.
