Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko held a meeting on the implementation of projects to create campuses, advanced schools and construction of Artek MDC facilities.
Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Emerine, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Construction, the Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, the Governor of the Tomsk Region Vladimir Mazur and the Governor of the Kirov Region Alexander Sokolov, as well as representatives of other interested departments and regions of Russia took part in it.
“Within the framework of the national project“ Youth and Children “in Russia, there is the creation of a whole constellation of modern university campuses. On behalf of our President Vladimir Putin, by 2030 they should be created at least 25, and by 2036 at least 40. Such campuses are designed to become real drivers of socio-economic development of the regions and contribute to the synergy of science, business and society. This is the most large-scale over the past 60 years, the program of complex infrastructure development of the field of education, which requires tremendous efforts and involvement, ”Dmitry Chernyshenko addressed the meeting participants.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of observing the deadlines of the creation of projects, and also urged new participants to take into account the successful practice of colleagues from other regions.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Education and Science Andrei Omelchuk noted that the project to create modern campus is one of the priority tasks that is of strategic importance for the development of education and science in the country.
“The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, together with the government and regions, is conducting daily painstaking work to monitor the implementation of campus projects throughout the country. Our efforts are aimed at timely identification of aspects that need additional attention or clarification, and operational response to ensure the unconditional successful completion and functioning of each object, ”Andrei Omelchuk emphasized.
He also added that during such a large -scale initiative, working issues always arise that require a special approach and additional optimization efforts from the regions. The Russian Ministry of Education and Science, in turn, conducts comprehensive monitoring and provides targeted support in resolving emerging issues and to study the necessary steps. However, first of all, the regions themselves should be actively involved in the implementation of the federal project – they also need interest, readiness for great work and their proactive position, otherwise the implementation of the planned plans will be impossible.
“We are aimed at ensuring not only the fact of the implementation of the project, but also its unconditional success. This is a vivid example of fruitful interaction between the state, regions and the private sector, which forms a strong foundation for the future of our country, ”concluded the deputy minister.
At the meeting, special attention was paid to the construction of modern campuses in the Samara and Sverdlovsk regions.
The Government of the Samara region has developed a new concept of campus. Four objects will be created on it: the training and laboratory building, the fitness and recreation building, the indoor testing ground, the hotel complex. Entering all campus objects on a new concept is scheduled for August 2030.
The project of the campus of the Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin in Yekaterinburg is a powerful scientific and educational cluster, which provides for three objects with a total area of more than 100 thousand square meters. m. These are educational buildings created for digital transformation, innovative development and the formation of a comfortable environment for students and teachers. In December of this year, all three buildings will be commissioned in full.
Also, the meeting participants discussed the progress of the construction of objects of the Artek MDC and advanced schools.
“President Vladimir Putin instructed to create at least 12 advanced schools until 2030. It is planned that thanks to the national project “Youth and Children“ They will appear in every federal district. Construction has already begun at three facilities: in the Novgorod, Pskov and Ryazan regions, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
About the creation of advanced schools was told by Deputy Minister of Education Andrei Nikolaev. So, in the Novgorod region a school for 600 people is being built, in the Pskov and Ryazan regions – 800 each. They will also have boarding schools for students.
In conclusion, Dmitry Chernyshenko instructed to prepare proposals to use the experience of creating campus for advanced schools.
