On September 3, the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Street of the Far East” was held at the tenth, anniversary Eastern Economic Forum. At its site, 11 Far Eastern regions, Russian ministries and departments present their key projects and achievements in the field of economics, culture and tourism. The organizer of the exhibition is the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District.

Also, to the accompaniment of the pop orchestra of the Moscow State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelsky, the guard of the Pacific Higher Naval School named after S.O. Makarov introduced the flag of the Russian Federation and the Banner of Victory on the site.

The exhibition presents expositions dedicated to the main achievements, investment potential and the cultural features of the regions of the Far East. For example, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) presents the zone of the scientific complex with the Mammoth Fauna cryo-storage and the glacial park technological training ground, the Jewish Autonomous Region will tell about the production of iron ore concentrate, the extraction of Brusitis and graphite, Chukotka will show a large-scale art object dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the district, the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory And the 10th anniversary of the WEF, Primorsky Krai will focus on how a unique geographical position, natural resources and human potential make the region attractive to business, tourism and life for several historical eras.

The Kamchatka Territory will give guests of the exhibition the opportunity to see new objects of the region with the help of a 3D-tour, Transbaikalia will present the monumental 9.5-meter composition “Sunny Myth” by the artist and sculptor Dasha Namdakov, the Republic of Buryatia will open the zone of spiritual cleansing with the traditional Buryat yurt, where the center of oriental medicine will be located, and the Khabarovsk Territory will tell about the development of the island of a large Ussurian- joint cross -border territory of Russia and China.

This year, the pavilions integrated elements related to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War into their expositions. In particular, the Sakhalin region will represent the space “Victory Roads”, which will tell about the South Sakhalin operation and the landing to Shumsh. The Magadan region will open the Kolyma zone from victory to victory, dedicated to the historical heritage – the role of Kolyma in victory in the Great Patriotic War and the contribution of the region to ensure the success of a special military operation. The Amur Region will introduce the guests of the exhibition with unique historical materials, photographs and memories of veterans using an interactive stand.

Also on the site, the Minor -Sports stands, the joint pavilion of the Ministry of Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the Development Corporation of the Far East and the Arctic “Developing the Far”, the space “House of the Falcon”, the Arab village and two large -scale exhibitions of the Center “Voil”. Separately, the Primorsky Territory organizes the work of the fish market.

In addition, guests and participants of the exhibition are expected by a diverse cultural program – performances, concerts, dance numbers and other events both at the stands of the regions and on the central stage of the “Street of the Far East”.

The X Eastern Economic Forum takes place on September 3-6 at the campus site of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok.
