In the Military Innovation Technopolis, Era was held a strategic session on improving the systems of technical vision of weapons, military and special equipment under the leadership of the First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
The event was attended by the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Anatoly Kontseva, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the central bodies of military administration, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Board of the Military-Industry Commission, enterprises of the military-industrial complex and innovative development funds.
Participants in the session considered the issues and requirements for the technical vision systems of ground -based weapons and robotics systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, aviation and space systems and complexes to solve the problems of reconnaissance, guidance and defeat of goals, taking into account the experience of a special military operation.
“Russian enterprises have certain achievements in the field of technical vision. Basically, they are based on optical, optical-electronic and radar technologies. Systems of technical vision should be as integrated as much as possible into all types of troops. In order to quickly advance this vector, first of all, it is necessary to summarize the experience of using new technologies during a special military operation. Including from the enemy, ”said Denis Manturov.
At the meeting, the main directions and terms for the implementation of work to ensure the fulfillment of the requirements of the Ministry of Defense were determined, aimed at increasing the efficiency and reliability of technical vision systems located on ground and air media.
One of the main topics raised during the strategic session was the development of industrial and basic technologies provided for by the project of the State Program “Development of the Defense and Industrial Complex” to carry out serial production of systems of technical vision of military equipment.
The First Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the exposition of the development of Russian defense industry enterprises, where devices, systems and software and hardware systems were presented to detect and recognize goals with the introduction of technical vision, implemented on the basis of trained neural networks. In addition, unmanned systems using artificial intelligence, virtual simulators of weapons and military equipment, communication systems, control and navigation of UAVs were demonstrated.
