An important project of the Primorsky ring is being implemented in the region, which also involves the creation of the northern bypass of Kaliningrad. It provides for the construction of modern exhibition sites, theater scenes, creative educational institutions and housing for students and employees. In addition, the creation of the Kantiana university campus continues on the basis of the Baltic Federal University named after Immanuel Kant.
