Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko held a working meeting with the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov. They discussed the development of tourism, sports, youth policy, science and education in the region.
One of the main issues was the preparation for international -level events that will be held in Krasnoyarsk. Among the key are the final of the V International Financial Security Olympiad and the International Youth Festival.
“The International Financial Security Olympiad is held with the support of President Vladimir Putin. Since this year, its events are held as part of the national project “Youth and Children“. More than 65 thousand people took part in the main stages of the Olympiad. It is expected that about 600 schoolchildren and representatives of about 40 countries will gather in the final in Krasnoyarsk, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The final stage will be in full -time format from September 28 to October 3, 2025. The main platform will be the Siberian Federal University. The main stages of the Olympiad are already completed.
“Preparations for the final of the Olympiad are going according to plan. Active interaction with the Siberian Federal University has been built, which has the necessary experience and infrastructure, as well as with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, Rosfinmonitoring and other organizations, ”said the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov.
The region is preparing for another large -scale event – the international festival of youth. The initiative to hold the festival in September 2026 in Krasnoyarsk was supported by President Vladimir Putin. It is planned that 10 thousand young people from more than 180 countries of the world will become participants in the event. The governor noted that active training has already begun.
In addition, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory there is the forum “Territory of Initiative Youth“ Biryusa ”. About 2.5 thousand people have already taken part in five shifts.
The Krasnoyarsk Territory regularly wins the “Region for Young” contest, which allows you to modernize youth centers. Last year, President Vladimir Putin opened a year -round youth educational center in the direction of Sports and Health.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted the dynamic development of the scientific potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the active work of Mikhail Kotyukov as the head of the Commission of the State Council in the direction of “Technological Leadership”.
Dmitry Chernyshenko emphasized the potential and active work of the subject of tourism development.
“Krasnoyarsk Territory is an incredibly beautiful region with wide travel opportunities. In July, during a working trip, I was able to personally verify the attractiveness and uniqueness of this place. The region actively uses the instruments of the national project “Tourism and hospitality“, which is implemented on behalf of President Vladimir Putin. The allocated funds are going to create infrastructure and increase the tourist attractiveness of the region. According to the subject, more than 800 thousand people visited it in the first seven months of the year, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Under the program of preferential lending to the national project in the region, two new hotels will be built.
In the sports industry, the Krasnoyarsk Territory also demonstrates good results. The levels of residents involvement in regular physical education and sports, as well as the provision of sports facilities in 2024 exceeded the plan. Such development was facilitated by the measures of Fedroektov “Sports-the Norm of Life” and “Business Sprint (I choose sports)”, and this year-a comprehensive state program for the development of physical education and sports.
The meeting was also attended by the head of Rosmolodzh, Grigory Gurov and Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Andrei Omelchuk.
