“We are incredibly proud of our school team! All the guys won medals! And 6 gold medals at the International AI Olympiad are a triumph of Russian talent and perseverance. The guys showed not only brilliant knowledge in artificial intelligence, computer vision and machine learning, but also the ability to work in a team. This victory is a vivid evidence of the huge scientific and technical potential of youth from all over Russia.

We, the AIA alliance, the Central University, MIPTs and our partners, joined forces to give the children the best preparation. We see how investments in support of gifted schoolchildren in a critically important field of AI bring outstanding results at the world level.

Congratulations to the winners, their mentors and the entire support team! We invite all the team members to our internship and wish you success! ” – said the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the AIA Alliance, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Alexander Vedyakhin.

The composition of the team to participate in IOAI was determined in the framework of the confrontation of Northern Eurasia OAI 2025 in May at the Sberuniversity site. Participants with lectures were presented by leading experts in the field of AI in Russia, including members of the Scientific Council of the AIA Alliance. As part of the event, full-time training fees took place and final trials were held for applicants for entering the national team.

The preparation of the team took place in several stages. The training program was developed by leading experts of the Central University. Experts and teachers of the Central University, including Alexander Gushchin, Tatyana Gayntseva, Alexander Dyakonov, trained participants. Also, this year, specialists in the field of artificial intelligence from Russian and international companies and universities joined the training, including Sbra, T-Bank, Huawei, Wildberries, Yandex, VK, MTS, HSE and MIPTI.

“I want to congratulate the winners of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence with Honored Medals and thank them for their efforts and labor during the competition and long preparation. For the second time, we are preparing the Russian team and for the second time successfully. Last year, at the First International AI Olympiad in Bulgaria, the guys, with the support of the Central University, won a wide margin from the strongest rivals from 39 countries. This year, the Olympiad itself became more mature-the number of participating countries increased from 39 to 61. And we approached the preparation even more consciously-the team of leading experts of the Central University has developed an individual training program, and also strengthened their expertise with the resources of our partners-an alliance in the field of artificial intelligence and MIPTI.

We clearly understand what role new technologies and specialists in this area play to build national technological sovereignty and are glad that we can contribute to the level of higher and optional education to the development of personnel potential and the well -being of our country, ”the rector of the Central University said Evgeny Ivashkevich.
