
Denis Manturov met with the head of the Republic of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg
The First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov held a meeting in Moscow with the head of the Republic of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg.
The meeting discussed the issues of socio-economic development of Tyva. In December 2024, an agreement was signed on the cooperation of the region with the Rostec state corporation. Vladislav Khovalyg noted that the state corporation is already implementing several investment projects on the territory of Tyva, in particular for the exploration and mining of minerals.
The head of the region expressed gratitude to Denis Manturov for the provision of support in the implementation of transport projects. Within the framework of the created interdepartmental working group, the technical task is now finalized for the development of preliminary technical and economic justification of the construction of the railway Central-Eurasian transport corridor through Tyvu to Mongolia and China.
As part of the meeting, the course of the implementation of the integrated plan on the energy supply of the Tyva, approved by the Russian government in 2021, was also discussed. In particular, the issue of building electric grid facilities for the energy supply of the Kyzyl agglomeration was affected.
