The government has amended the requirements for projects for the construction of Craboral vessels as part of the investment quota mechanism. After termination of the agreement with the previous investor, new companies will be able to begin completion of ships on the same conditions.

“The industry of fishing shipbuilding is now on the rise, including thanks to a deep modernization of production. The mechanism “Kvot under the keel“ restarted the process of creating the Russian commercial fleet. The amendments accepted by the Russian government will allow us to quickly respond to a change in the situation and, in case of leaving projects of shipbuilding companies or investors, without losing a pace, to connect other participants-for the successful and timely completion of the construction of new Crasnovani vessels, ”said Dmitry Deputy Chairman of the Government of Dmitry Patrushev.

The practice of recent years showed that the existing regulatory legal framework made it difficult to complete the Craboral vessels. If the agreements were terminated for some reason, then upon completion of construction it was impossible to ensure that the relevant requirements for industrial products and the conclusion of new investment applications for the completion of such courts. The inconsistency was revealed during meetings in the format of incident No. 42 “Fish-free vessels” under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev. Thus, the amendments made by the government will allow you to conclude new agreements on the released shares of the investment quota with investors.
