The Republic of Buryatia masters federal standards for the provision of public services. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister-head of the government apparatus Dmitry Grigorenko during a working trip to Ulan-Ude.

In particular, Buryatia launched the “Life Situation” service to care for a family member on the public services portal. This service was implemented as part of the federal project “State for People”. It is intended for citizens who want to arrange care for loved ones in need of constant care: disabled or elderly people. The service helps to draw up a conclusion about the need to care, getting rid of the unnecessary need for personal visits to social services and collecting paper documents. Through the portal of public services, residents of Buryatia can also call a doctor at home or sign up for a local therapist.

In addition, the Life Situations service invites users to study the skills of general care for elderly citizens and disabled people. To date, the “School of Care” works in Ulan-Ude. Social workers, junior medical personnel or relatives of people in need can undergo free training. In the future, the functionality of the service can be expanded.

“Life situations are a new standard for public services, when a person can quickly and comprehensively solve his issue without extra bureaucratic barriers. Since last year, we have been introducing this approach in the regions. Now he acts in Buryatia. Our goal is to make such high standards the norm throughout the country so that citizens receive public services at the same high level, regardless of the place of residence, ”said Dmitry Grigorenko.

“Our developments, with the support of the Russian government, are already introduced directly to the public services portal at the federal level and are becoming available to a wider circle of people. Now the Deputy Prime Minister gave us landmarks, what else to work with, what to pay attention to. According to the results of the meeting, we have a whole list of instructions with which we will go to work further. The unification of public services on the principle of “life situations” has greatly simplified their receipt. In particular, within the framework of one regional service “Life Situation”, it was possible to reduce the time of receipt of public services by an average of 43% (from 44 to 25 days), the number of necessary documents (from 8 to 4 units) decreased by 50%, the number of visits that the person must be made to the departments decreased by 75% (from 4 to 1).
