The All-Russian Competition “Mentoring” started at the seminar-meeting “Mentoring: traditions, experience, cooperation”
The start of the competition is given in the framework of the All-Russian seminar-meeting “Mentoring: traditions, experience, cooperation”, which takes place in Kaluga on the basis of the Federal Technopark of Professional Education on July 17–18. The seminar participants will present effective practices of mentoring, join the work of pedagogical workshops, round tables and educational events.
“As our President Vladimir Putin said, the issues of training, mentoring are always an appeal to the future. Russia is rightfully proud of its mentoring system, uniting experienced craftsmen and young specialists. It is the mentors who tell young people how to become real professionals, support them and help to reveal the potential, develop and strive for new heights. The continuity of generations is the key to the country’s technological sovereignty, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko, deputy chairman of the government.
Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov noted that through mentoring it is possible not only to maintain professional knowledge, but also to increase them, creating a strong connection between the past and future.

Mentoring is a bridge between experience and innovations, between traditions and advanced decisions. It is through the transfer of knowledge, skills and values that we form specialists who are able to ensure the technological leadership of our country. The competition will be held in the online format according to the following nominations:
– “Mentoring in production”: mentoring practices aimed at the professional formation and socialization of the instructed/instructed, adaptation in the labor collective;
– “Mentoring in the field of education, education and youth policy”: the practice of mentoring educational organizations (regardless of the level of education, form of ownership and departmental affiliation);
– “Mentoring in the social sphere and social activity”: the practice of mentoring in the field of healthcare, culture, sports, social protection, including practices aimed at supporting and supporting the instructed, in difficult life situations and (or) socially dangerous position, in various spheres of life, as well as the practice of mentoring as a volunteer type of activity of socially active people;
– “Mentoring in the service”: the practice of mentoring in the system of executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local governments of municipal districts, municipal districts or urban districts aimed at organizing the activities of the instructed employees (employees) or students mastering the profession of state civil or municipal service.
“The All -Russian competition“ Mentoring “covers various areas of application of mentoring practices – these are educational and social spheres, social activities, public service and production. This is a bright and promising project that has united more than 20 thousand participants last year. I am sure that their number will grow and relevant solutions will be presented for the competition. And the best of them will find their application not only in the system SPO, but also beyond its borders, ”commented the rector of the Institute for the Development of Professional Education Sergey Kozhevnikov.
