Then 25 thousand volunteers were prepared, the competition was higher than in the most prestigious universities – more than 10 people per place. Dmitry Chernyshenko recalled that Vladimir Putin personally handed the diplomas to the winners of the volunteer competition.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that in Russia you can realize its capabilities and talents in a variety of directions.

“The president entrusted the youth and children“ to ensure all possible, the necessary support for you to realize this in the most effective way. But of course, you yourself are the most powerful driving power of volunteering in our country, ”he added.

Key measures in this area are collected in the federal project “We are together.” Among them are 12 events, including the support of the Association “Dobr.rf” and the #project, the movements “Volunteers of the Victory”, “Medical Volunteers”, the All-Russian Ecosystem, the All-Russian Student Corps of Rescuers and other NPOs.

Dmitry Chernyshenko said that 88 regional centers for the development of volunteering, more than 1 thousand “good. Centers” and 3.5 thousand headquarters of #mugs, about 23 thousand school volunteer detachments, 664 centers of volunteer activities in universities are already operating in Russia. More than 8 million people and 160 thousand organizations were registered on the Dobr.rf platform, more than 112 thousand projects were implemented, more than 1 million good deeds were completed.

“We understand that this is actually only the beginning of a large path, given the task that the president set us: almost half of all youth should be involved in volunteer and social activities. I am sure that to improve the platform it will be necessary to expand its functionality. The government gave such an assignment, but I see that you yourself tell yourself what these events should be, ”the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Dmitry Chernyshenko thanked the volunteers and listed a number of key tasks facing them. Firstly, this is support for participants in a special military operation, their families and assistance to residents of border territories. Volunteers have already completed more than 650 thousand applications, more than 600 humanitarian missions in the Donbass, in the border territories, were also implemented. Secondly, the elimination of the consequences of an emergency in Anapa. In the Krasnodar Territory alone, about 150 thousand tons of polluted sand and soil were collected and exported, 7.5 thousand birds were saved. Thirdly, the volunteers provided invaluable help in the fight against fires in the Trans -Baikal Territory.
