Tatyana Golikova took part in a meeting of the Commission of the State Council in the direction “Family”
On June 27, a meeting of the Commission of the State Council in the direction “Family” was held. It was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, presidential assistant, secretary of the State Council Alexei Dyumin, chairman of the commission – head of the Republic of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov, representatives of federal authorities, heads of regions and others.
“Our joint goal is an increase in the number of families with children, including large families, strengthening family values. Its achievement requires the daily attention of governors, heads of federal executive bodies and our joint coordinated work with you, ”said Tatyana Golikova.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that sociology shows that Russians of all ages consider a strong family the main value. The proportion of families that plan children in the coming year is growing, the popularity of large families and the attractiveness of the image of a large mother is increasing. If 10 years ago 28% of Russians were guided by three children, today it is already 39%. Every second Russian believes that the ideal family is large.
“The government approved the action strategy for the implementation of family and demographic policy, supporting large families until 2036. A strategy for actions has been developed in the interests of older citizens. From January 1, we launched a large -scale national project “Family“, including measures to support young, large families, older generation, development of children’s healthcare, strengthening reproductive health, promoting family values. But demography is not only about the national project, but also about the implementation of family oriented policy in each region. When deciding on the birth of a child, confidence for citizens is important for citizens. Tomorrow is stable work, competitive wages, understanding that the settlements where they live have development prospects.
In his opening word, Alexei Dyumin noted that a lot of work was done by the previous composition of the commission. She actively participated in the formation of the National Project “Family” and not only it – the principle of family centricity has been introduced in almost all new national projects.
“The President of Russia determined the key priority for the country. Increasing the birth rate is the main task, including for those subjects where its indicators are lower than the average in Russia. To do this, it is necessary to use all possible tools, including not related to financing, to find new solutions. The issues of caring for family and children will always be relevant for us and at all times. The commission should become the central platform for discussing with regions and experts of all proposals on this topic, developing consolidated decisions and replicating the best practices, ”said Alexei Dyumin.
Artyom Zdunov outlined the key areas of the work of the State Council commission in the direction “Family”. Among them are the development of a system of support for families with children, including the solution of housing issues, the implementation of corporate programs, ensuring the balance between work and family, and others.
“I consider it the main thing to give effective regional practices to the federal level. In Mordovia, for example, we pay great attention from a very young age to reproductive health and educating traditional family values. We support the women who have made a decision on the birth of a child at all levels. We also adopted a program to provide the families of state employees in which the child was born, we will join social housing with the right of subsequent redemption, for several years a measure has been operating for the complete repayment of a mortgage at the birth of a fourth child. The most important thing is that a large family should become the norm, to be in the center of attention of society. An honorable and attentive attitude to large families from each person, in any structures, institutions and enterprises – this is our goal, ”said the chairman of the commission.
During the meeting, measures to improve the demographic situation and the experience of supporting large families in the regions were presented by the heads of Kalmykia, Sevastopol, Vladimir and Tula regions. The issues of involving business in solving demographic problems and monitoring the execution of the president’s instructions following the results of a meeting of the State Council on Social Support of Families were also considered.
