As Tatyana Golikova noted, the discussion is devoted to the issue that excites all of humanity: how to extend the active and healthy life. This is the task of not only scientists, doctors, but also society as a whole.
Providing healthy longevity is a priority task set before the country by the President of Russia.
These issues were discussed at the first forum “Russia and the world: the trends of a healthy longevity” held on May 27–28. The forum was organized by the Russian government with the assistance of the Roscongress Foundation, the Government of the Moscow Region and the Ministry of Education and Science. Over 1.5 thousand specialists and experts from various industries took part in its conduct: politicians and public figures, scientists, specialists in the field of health and culture, representatives of the media, bloggers, healthy food, dietary supplements, medical products and others. According to the results of the discussion, the first resolution was approved, which is posted on the Roscongress website.
“Everyone is different for everyone. A person’s biological clock can run faster or lag behind. The systematic approach to increasing the healthy life expectancy requires coordinated efforts at the state level and at the expert, ”the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Tatyana Golikova spoke about some health -saving technologies used in Russia.
The first is the medicine of healthy longevity – a comprehensive strategy for health -saving, combining innovative scientific research and their practical application.
“Since 2025, the implementation of the national project“ New Technologies for Savings of Health ”has begun. It includes five federal projects. Now the main emphasis has been treated by human and conditions already formed in humans. However, in recent years, preventive medicine has begun to develop, identifying the risk of the development of diseases. Medicine of healthy longevity is aimed at identifying the predriving of the development of diseases and impact on them. We have much more to do. The moment our system works for the treatment of diseases.
The main areas of scientific medical research on the topic of healthy longevity, which are now held in Russia:
– a combination of regenerative biomedicine, studies on which began back in 2023 as part of the federal project “Medical Science for Man”;
– development of biomarkers and panels that allow you to determine the biological age, as well as drugs to prevent the processes of cell aging;
– Genetic studies: predictive genetics, pharmacogenetics and nutrigenetics.
Also, within the framework of the national project, studies are conducted aimed at combating the age of-compiled diseases and their complications, including neurodegenerative diseases, diseases of the cardiovascular system and diabetes mellitus.
“We create an affordable medical infrastructure for healthy longevity based on health centers and medical prevention offices. Last year alone, more than 38 million people contacted them. We change the functions of health centers and reorient them to work to identify the forerunners of the development of diseases and eliminate them, ”Tatyana Golikova emphasized.
The second block of tasks, in the field of healthy longevity – the social involvement of man.
“Numerous international studies have shown that strong social relations are directly related to increasing life expectancy. An American study for 300 thousand people showed that social isolation is a risk to health and comparable to smoking 15 cigarettes per day. Another study of English scientists who observed 7.3 thousand people for more than 50 years showed that 73% of people with good health at least once a week met friends, visited public places, museums and theaters. It is important for a healthy longevity to develop various types of relations-family, friendly, professional, neighboring, as well as participate in public organizations, volunteer activities, various communities, ”said Deputy Prime Minister.
In addition, Tatyana Golikova emphasized, a healthy habitat plays an important role in extending longevity, a combination of ecology, food habits, motor activity, lifestyle and strong social ties. All these are the main factors for the formation of the so -called blue or blue zones – regions with the greatest concentration of long -livers. The experience of studying the inhabitants of these zones gave at one time an incentive for the development of genetic research in the field of aging biology. In Russia, such studies also started as part of the National Project “New Health Savings”.
The session was attended by Vladimir Dadali, a professor at the North-West State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov of the Russian Ministry of Health, a certified consultant on the Nutrition University of Natural Medicine (California, USA); Mikhail Kovalchuk, President of the NIC “Kurchatov Institute”; Konstantin Kotenko, Director of the Russian Scientific Center for Surgery named after Academician B.V.
