The Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin visited the Vologda Oblast, where he held a meeting on the socio-economic development of the region, a working meeting with Governor George Filimonov, and also examined a number of facilities.
“The Vologda region is developing systematically for the better. Good dynamics in housing construction. In four months of this year, almost 384 thousand square meters were commissioned. m of housing, which is 50% higher compared to the same period last year. In the region, the urban planning potential is 2.6 million square meters in the region. m and grows every year. I especially want to note the work on the modernization of communal infrastructure. In the region, networks are actively changing and boiler rooms are updated. There is a lot of work here. It’s good that the governor’s team seriously got down to business. This is only a small part of the work. I think that for the celebration of the anniversary of the regional capital, Vologda will really be transformed, the region will become even more comfortable for life and relaxation, ”said Marat Khusnullin.
At a meeting chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister, dedicated to the issues of socio-economic development of the Vologda region, the participants examined the current state of affairs and outlined specific steps to resolve the available issues.
The key topic of discussion was the implementation of the National Project “Infrastructure for Life”, including aimed at improving the quality of the environment in strongholds.
As Marat Khusnullin noted, in the Vologda Oblast, a list of 27 supporting settlements was preliminarily defined, where systematic work will be carried out to increase the comfort of the life of citizens. These measures will achieve a national goal – to improve the quality of the environment for life in strong settlements by 30% by 2030.
Special attention at the meeting was given to the state of the road network. Its update and bringing to normative state continues within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. Among the priority tasks are the development of the federal highway M-8 on the site from Yaroslavl to Vologda.
Marat Khusnullin also met with the regional governor Georgy Filimonov and discussed with him key issues to prepare the regional capital for the celebration of the anniversary.
During the trip, the Deputy Prime Minister checked the construction of the Nekrasovsky bridge. Reconstruction is carried out in accordance with the federal project “Regional and Local Road Network” and as part of the instructions of the President of Russia. Currently, the readiness of the object is 63%. Experts complet the work on concreting span buildings and the baton part of the bridge. During the discussion, the priority tasks were determined, the implementation of which will accelerate the commissioning of the facility and provide residents with transport infrastructure.
Another object of inspection was the central embankment of the Vologda River. The modernization of the embankment will be carried out in stages. Currently, an architectural concept has been developed and a sketch project of the first stage of improvement. This year, it is planned to start working with a territory adjacent to the Vologda Kremlin. It is also planned to update the site at the monument K.N. Batyushkov.
