For six years in the regions – participants in the national project “Safe high -quality roads” after the repair, reconstruction and construction, 457 km of regional and local roads leading to airports were commissioned. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

“Now the country is undergoing large -scale work on the development of airports: new airport complexes are being built and reconstructed, airfield infrastructure is modernized. Along with this, we bring into the normative state and access roads to the air harbor. Over the six years of implementation of the national project “Safe high -quality roads“ More than 120 sections of the regional and local road network, leading or part of the routes to airports have been commissioned. Their total length is 457 km. In 2025, we will continue this work thanks to the new national project “Infrastructure for life“ ”,” said Marat Khusnullin.

A unified transport system, comfortable for everyone, allows you to solve social problems, improve the quality of logistics and strengthen interregional ties.

“Recently, an increase in passenger traffic on the interior lines has been fixed, a national route network of air transportation is growing. Along with this, road transport infrastructure is developing, which makes trips to other regions safer and more comfortable in the complex. In 2024 alone, on the national project “Safe high -quality roads“ brought 21 km of routes to the airports to the standards. In 2025, repair work was scheduled for 16 such objects of the national project “Infrastructure for life“, their total length will be about 44 km, ”said Roman Starovoit, Minister of Transport.

The development of roads to airports and transport infrastructure as a whole affects the development of domestic tourism. This is another important aspect of work to improve the quality of life of Russians.

“Over the six years of the implementation of the national project“ Safe high -quality roads “repaired, reconstructed and built over 2 thousand sections of the regional and local road network, leading to unique natural complexes, architectural monuments, religious buildings, historical attractions. As a rule, work at such facilities was carried out comprehensively: in addition to the roadway, safety and road infrastructure elements were equipped. As a result, every year of trip to Russia becomes more comfortable, and increasing the tourist flow ensures the receipt of investments in the regions, contributes to the creation of new jobs, forms new spaces for business development, ”said Igor Kostyuchenko, deputy head of the Federal Road Agency.

So, in 2024, a four -kilometer entrance to the Krasnoyarsk International Airport was repaired, and in 2023 in the Irkutsk region the road section was updated – access to the Bratsk International Airport, the second largest air harbor in the region. The length of the site is 2.8 km.

In the Tomsk region in 2023, the Tomsk highway was updated – the airport leading to the International Airport of Tomsk named after Nikolai Kamov. In total, more than 8 km were repaired during the implementation of the national project. In particular, on the segment from Basandayskaya Street in Tomsk to the village, the keys updated the roadway, repaired public transport stops, and marking. In 2020, about 0.8 km of the entrance to the airport terminal with a ring movement and free parking for 226 seats were built.

In 2020, in the Ivanovo region, the Yuzhny Airport – Starkostroiteli Airport (West Bypass of Ivanovo) was built in the Ivanovo region. The new section with a length of 2.8 km tied the federal highway R-132 “Golden Ring” with the existing section of the Western bypass and allowed to launch transit transport bypassing the regional center.
