On May 19, at the site of the Avangard Center, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) summed up the results of the international program “Class Country” 2024/2025 of the school year, aimed at developing educational tourism.

Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko greeted the participants and guests of the event. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that in 2025, declared by President Vladimir Putin the year of the defender of the Fatherland, it is especially important to strengthen patriotic education in the modern education system.

“The head of state Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin emphasizes the need to create routes for children who would introduce them to the history, culture and nature of Russia. And our common goal is that every child at least once a year could go on an educational trip. Regional teams, uniting teachers, tour operators, representatives of authorities and, of course, the children themselves, did a tremendous work. Together you have developed unique, interesting and informative routes, ”said Dmitry Chernyshenko.

He also expressed gratitude to Asi and personally to the general director of the Agency Svetlana Chupsheva for the implementation of the program, which opens up new horizons in education. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that this year the Class Country program acquired international status, representatives of 7 foreign states from the BRICS+association took part in it: “I am sure that the created travel programs will become a strong basis for the dynamic development of educational tourism in Russia. I wish the winners of success, inspiration and new bright, memorable projects. ”

The international program “Class Country” is implemented by ASI together with the group of companies “Enlightenment”. The winners received quotas for the implementation of their travel programs, the possibility of posting information about participants and a project on Maer media facades, trips to the Brics Summer Camp 2025 international camp and other valuable prizes.

In this academic year, regional teams have developed more than 100 educational programs for children and youth on 5 thematic tracks in binding to school subjects: history and patriotism, culture, ecology, science and technology, sports and a healthy lifestyle. Of these, the expert council selected 15 original and promising. In the competition of the best children’s creative projects for the development of PR strategies of 100 promotion, 10 projects won by the teams of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Tomsk Region, Chuvash Republic, Ryazan Region, Kaluga Region, the Orenburg Region, the Donetsk People’s Republic, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra, Krasnodar Territory and the Smolensk region.

“I want to express gratitude to state authorities, ministries of tourism and education. You first took a chance, united your teams and said: “Let’s do it together!“. When educational institutions, children and all involved have united, they immediately went the right way. Today we see the results. Thanks to the teachers who have not stopped, were not frightened and created high -quality training systems – the basis of your educational technologies. Thanks to the parents for support. It is important that the created projects were not just left on paper or in archives: The guys are already implementing marketing strategies, and thanks to them, the educational programs of travel are known in all regions, ”said Olga Zakharova, Deputy General Director of Asi.

She also noted that in two years 15 thousand active participants have been involved in the program, 200 educational programs have been developed. 1600 specialized specialists underwent a course of advanced training and received state diplomas, 1000 children passed the educational course and received certificates that give up to 10 additional points upon admission to the university.

In the project of this school year, teams from 20 regions participated. For six months, schoolchildren, teachers, representatives of government, tour operators, methodologists and experts created educational programs with binding to school subjects, revealing the wealth of the cultural, historical, natural and industrial heritage of Russia, worked on the content, logistics and visual ways of trips.

In addition, the partners of the program noted teams in 16 special nominations. Among them, the Education group of companies presented the award for the “best methodological set” to teams from the Ryazan region and the Arkhangelsk region, ANO “more than a journey” – a team from the Chuvash Republic, which showed maximum cohesion and efficiency, and the Russian Union of Turin industry noted the best designers of educational trips from the DPR.

They presented prizes to international participants in the Brics+ contest from India, who presented the best project of educational travel in their country.
