High -speed highways continue to be one of the key factors in the country’s infrastructure development. Their demand among road users is increasing annually, especially on weekends and holidays. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
“High -speed tracks allow citizens to quickly, conveniently and safely get to their destination. The lack of traffic lights, intersections at the same level, high -quality coating, intellectual transport systems and modern multifunctional zones of the road service (MFZ) make trips on such roads as comfortable as possible. All these factors affect the growth of traffic on them and an increase in the intensity of movement, especially on holidays. On May holidays, this indicator over the entire network of high -speed tracks has increased significantly. For example, on May 1 of this year, the East “East“ Passenger and trucks drove a record number of kilometers-21.5 million km, which is 29% higher compared to the same period last year, ”said Marat Khusnullin.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that on the M-11 Neva highway during the May holidays, more than 21 thousand driveways per day were recorded on average. The peak was marked on May 1, when the indicator grew to almost 33 thousand. The traffic intensity on the road of the road from Moscow to the Tver region exceeded 40 thousand driveways per day. In general, this year it grew by 14% compared to the same period last year.
The peak intensity of the traffic on the Central Department Store was April 30 – an average of more than 25 thousand driveways per day, and more than 37 thousand were recorded in separate sections. Over 20 thousand driveways were marked in the May holidays on the open last year.
The confident increase in the intensity of movement is shown by the new A-289 Krasnodar-Kerch road. On April 30, traffic amounted to 19.5 thousand driveways. The peak value was recorded on May 1 – more than 22.5 thousand. At the end of the May holidays, as of May 11, the intensity of traffic on this road was 16.8 thousand driveways per day.
The Chairman of the Board of the State Communist Party of Avtodor Vyacheslav Petushenko noted that on holidays there is an increase in traffic of cars on all routes of high -speed tracks. The high-speed road to the south-M-4 Don is in particular demand.
“On the M-4”, the average daily intensity of movement also increased on the May holidays. The peak value on this highway was recorded on April 30, on some sections of the road, the flow of cars reached high values. So, more than 80 thousand driveways were registered on the borders of the Moscow Region. High indicators were observed on May 1 in the Rostov region-it was noted here from the Rostov region-from abroad. 55 thousand drives in the first and last days of the festive period showed a stable load.
The greatest intensity of movement is observed on the eve and at the end of the holidays, when people go on travel and to cottages. More and more motorists choose high -speed roads because of their high throughput, safety, comfort and service, making them the main routes these days. Modern multifunctional zones of the road service, round -the -clock free assistance of emergency commissars and monitoring systems that increase traffic safety are available on the tracks.
